3pt1lumina Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 Okay guys I have a question... There is this rubber bushing thing that sits between the trailering arm and the strut and I CANNOT get the damn thing to compress again... Are there any suggestions/tricks to getting this back together? Thanks Quote
94CutlassSLCoupe Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 use the bolt that comes in the strut kit to hold it tight Quote

Crazy K Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 what brand of struts? monroe sensatracs, kyb, gabriel ???? Quote
SigEpCutlass Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 I'm hoping it's not the latter of those listed as you may have to do it again sooner than you should... Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 Guy in the bodyshop bought AC Delco struts (I'm assuming made by Gabriel) for his 90ish Regal, and he's already having problems with them being noisey. I'm totally not buying AC Delco now! Quote
1990lumina Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 I have a little over 2000km on my sensatracs so far and love them Quote
3pt1lumina Posted July 22, 2006 Author Report Posted July 22, 2006 yeah I put sensatracs on it...I have them on every one of my other cars and I love them and they've always been reliable. Quote
EricTkiwi Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 My KYB's did not come with a bolt to hold the aux spring dampner together, does anyone know what size bolt/ thread/ length I would need to hold the assembly togther? In the middle of a nightmare now. Any information appreciated. (92 Lumina Euro). Quote
rockfangd Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 i had no luck when i did my rear struts because the hole that the bolt is supposet to go through to keep the bushing compressed would not work. I couldnt get the bolt to thread and i went through hell to get it done. But i love my kybs Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Holt old thread batman! I think I just left that part out when I re-did my rear suspension. Quote
rockfangd Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 is that possible. I found it impossible to leave the bushings out when i did mine Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 really?! I duno I took the bottom bolt out, the one on the lateral link, and they just kinda feel off almost.... Quote
