Yeah, definitely a TGP, even has a factory CD player

It looks pretty good actually, aside from the lack of valence.....I like the seats, they are in good shape....to much $ though....

Most definitely a TGP. You can tell by the front bumper. It's the only GP to get that body kit, but use the composite headlights instead of the "mini-quads". And yeah, as nice as it is, that's a bit much. I'd say maybe $5,500 or so.

That car will be worth every penny he's asking in about 10 years, at that same mileage. It would book at NADA for about $8k right now.. no one will buy it for that much, but still. That's what it's worth, according to someone who knows something about writing a book for everybody about the value of something.

hah I was right... Well the CD player, louvres, and front bumper were what made me say TGP... spoiler too, but I figured I would ask you guys for sure... but the price was just SCREAMING TGP, and I didn't think they put that particular body dress on anything but the TGPs during those two years.... Could be wrong, but I was looking for Grand Prix's for sale... found that, a bunch of crappy beat up sedans, one STE, and that one, just marketed as a Grand Prix... nothing else which was what called my attention to it originally, and the price. Looking at it, including the gold rims, i figured it was a TGP.

Glad to know my eyes weren't deceiving me.

PS. Applying at a body shop, had a guy thinking mine was a TGP. Right hood, no spoiler, wrong front bumper, wrong rims... but I was still flattered. I think he was hitting on me lol. Corrected him, told him the difference, thanked him for the compliment. :)

(Planning to dress mine as a TGP in the process of turning her to a sleeper.)

The only thing that's unique to the TGP on the outside (other than the badges, of course) is the front bumper. Those louvers (as you know) were available on the '91 - '93 GPs, and that CD player could be had on the '89 & up GPs, Bonnevilles, 6000's, Transports, and Trans Ams. Also, spoilers were not available from the factory on TGPs. Either s/he, or the pervious owner added that, or maybe swapped trunklids with a spoiler equipped later model.

90+ GP's and Trans Sports. Bonnevilles never got that radio. Not sure about the Trans Am's. (Not really positive about the Trans Sports, actually)

There's a picture of that same CD player in a TA/Firebird in one of my Pontiac brochures, and I know the '89 or '90 - '91 Bonnevilles were available with them, as well. The first one I ever purchsed came out of an SSE at an IN Pick N' Pull. But you're right about the GPs, I meant '90. I just didn't want to break it down to what year they were in for each individual model.

Problem with the front seat picture is they don't show the wear point which is the outside bolster or whatever you call it. Don't buy till you get a picture of that area.
