92SL
Hello guys, just wondering if the upper strut bushing/mounts have to be greased because they're noisy as hell. I've tried greasing them but they eventually got noisy again after an hour or so of driving. There isn't excess play or ware nor broken pieces so what the %^$ is goin on. It sounds like a bloody creaking door when I turn while in motion or hitting bumps. I'm thinking it's possesed . THis all happened right after replacing the strut cartriges
19Cutlass94
You need a strut tower bearing ( maybe the plate ) and an insulator. I had the same problem on mine. And they non-greaseable, which is why in a short time they do it again.
tdk90nitro
I've been having the same problem with Sensa-tracs that i put in the front. Spacing issue. Someone on here awhile back did the same replacement and had to add a couple of washers similar to those supplied with the replacement cartridge. Hopefulll someone could shed the light on where to get those size/type of washers, that would be nice. Because i havent figured out the size (dont want to pull it out again unless I can fix it) I'm not sure where they go either. ugh...

Stores wanted nearly double for the same. I am just going to buy a strut tool kit and figure out the washer size. Don't like hearing it.
