1990lumina Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 Sounds like the symptoms I had with a '93 Park Avenue...ended up replacing the ICM and 3 coilpacks with a junkyard unit for $80, problem solved... check for spark if possible, try doing an ohms test on the coil packs too... If it starts and runs fine when cold, suspect something like that...the ICM and coils don't like heat too much, and eventually they will die without warning (as what happened with this Park Avenue) Quote
Dirty Rockstar Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 Jay, you replaced it with all new stuff I trust? Have you checked the fuel pump itself? Because mine would run, but wasn't putting enough up to the front of the car whichj was why my sedan wouldn't start.. Hope this helps man! Because I tried EVERYTHING you have thus far and mine still wouldn't start.. Wound up being the fuel pump.. Quote
94CutlassSLCoupe Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 is the fuel filter fairly new? It could be plugged. Quote
Crazy K Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 could be a computer. replaced the crank sensor, right? might be a damaged wire. Quote
