Tigershark
no I actually haven't.. I forgot how to do that.. I did it a ways back to my 92 Cut.. but I thought that was good for rough idles and such..
19Cutlass94
Id try that. When I did my gaskets same thing happened. high idle. The re-learn fixed it. If you forgot how to, its in the FAQ section.
94CutlassSLCoupe
ok, this is how I do a relearn. remove the negative battery cable, open the door. Connect the battery cable and tighten when the interior lights are OUT (with door open) when battery is connected. Jump in car, start it up and immediately put it in D and hold against the brake. Continue for 5 min. Kill the engine instantly after doing this. On the next start the engine should run normallly.

Tigershark
 Crap... it wasn't the re-learn and it wasn't any vacuum hoses.. I don't know what happened to me but I left a small piece of the old gasket on the plenum and well yeah... it had a major vacuum leak... so crap it took me an extra 45 mins to fix i but at least it's running properly now... that was easy

THe_DeTAiL3R
I forgot to tighten the TB on proplery when doing my LIM cause I was rushing to get it done. When I started the car it red-lined immediatly... kinda scary since it sat for a week without oil...

Tigershark
And yeah that's what happened to me as well, I got in a rush to finish it.. And I thought all the surfaces were clean but i guess you can't really be too carefull. Man i'm just glad the plenum didn't crack when i tightened it down. that would have been a big bummer.
