red92s Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 First off, I did search for this first, no luck. Anyway, Im going to be dropping the subframe on my car sometime in the near future. So it would be a good idea to get new cradle bolts and the rubber biscuits that go with them. Is this one of those things you have to go to a stearlership for? How much do they go for? Theres no way im going to get any kind of recally break now. I might just go with grade eight bolts (im not sure what the metric equivalent is called) , but im more concerned about the big rubber isolaters and stuff like that. Quote
RJansen658 Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 Dude my cradle bolts are metric 12.9.... way way stronger than grade 8. Correct me if I'm mistaken but I think* English grade 8 is metric grade 8.8. But I know 12.9 = way stronger than grade 8 Quote
Crazy K Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 I was thinking grade 9.8 myself. YOU need to get OEM ones dude, this is a safety issue. But You may not need to replace then if they are in good shape. Quote
