intern8tion9l Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 alright i'm sure everyone is sick of me posting my issues, but some things i just don't know about. this is prob for you 5spd guys....just recently the car started making this clicking/scraping sound in what i think is the tranny. it only happens when the car gets hot. its not so loud inside, but def is louder outside and also gets louder when i push the clutch in. it sounds like i have a friggin baseball card in bike spokes when i'm driving down the road. seems like one thing after another lately.... Guest TurboSedan Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 i have never had a problem like that. sounds to me like it might be the throwout bearing if it gets louder when you push the clutch in. does the clutch pedal feel wierd? does it go into gear easily? Quote

Thats the same thing I was going to ask, about the T/O bearing. Also, does it only do it when its moving? Could be a combination of problems. Quote
intern8tion9l Posted June 28, 2006 Author Report Posted June 28, 2006 its constant. i was thinking t/o bearing but its a friggin brand new muncie bearing. and i thought as long as you aren't pushing the clutch in the bearing is stationary? the clutch does feel odd sometimes. not hard to push by any means, but it seems to have a little extra vibration sometimes. and why only when the car is hot?
