Psych0matt
So, since my sensor is crossthreaded, and I can't afford a ton of money, i had an idea. Now, I know it's not the best way to do things, but as long as it isn't unsafe, I'm wondering if this would work. Basically, leave the crossthreaded sensor in, drill and tap a hole further down the exhaust a bit, and just lengthen the sensor wires, thus making it easier accesible in the future, as well. what do you guys think? Psych0matt
In other words, I want to do this to get my car running right, since i think its a very good possibility that it's the o2 causing it to run bad. is there any major reason not to do it? or would you guys say go for it? cutlsp
I would get the old o2 sensor out and retap that hole that is screwed up
