1998 buick regal gs, on hot days, (really hot) days, when i have the a/c on, the car starts to mess around, let me explain mess around, i hit the gas just a little bit for normal acceleration lets say 45-50 and its like it wants to die, and it wont accelerate, and its every time i hit the gas, soon it dies, no light turns on in the dash, i turn it back on, and it works fine, for 7 minutes or so, and does the same thing, so i turn the a/c off, no problem at all, it could be hot as hell, but the car wont have any problems, its only with the a/c on and on hot hot days. any idea the engine is the L67 by the way, for those with similar problems. help greatly appreciated. thnks

Hmm,that sucks...hows your battery and alternator readings/drain when the a/c is on?

I dont know if your car has the gauges for that or not, which is why I ask. From your post, seems when the a/c is engaged, the problem happens.Hows the tensioner pulley and belt these days? Just throwing ideas...those are the places Id look first.
