Mach 5 Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 Hey, my name is Jarek. Im new to the forum. I have been watching it for a while and finally decided to join since the people here seem to know their stuff and seem very nice. I own a 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix. Its got the 3.1 auto leather interior. She has about 95,000 miles on her. The car was given to me from my mother. She has always babied it. I am fixing it up so when I go back for my senior year of high school, I can have a great top performing car. The next topic I will be posting is about fuel injectors. Quote

digitaloutsider Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 You might want to watch out for the ricers with you having the LHO and all.. Really though, aside from the color, and having two less doors, that reminds me a LOT of my '90 LE. Ah, the poor beater. My first car.. (click to enlarge) Quote

89GP_SE Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 my new tradition for newbs: On a dark deserted server Cool cars on my screen Loud sound of keyboards Typing through the air Up ahead in the forum I saw another w-body My head grew heavy, and my sight grew dim I had to stop for the night There I entered on the mainpage I heard the mission bell And I was thinking to myself This could be Heaven or this could be Hell Then I lit up a candle And they showed me the way There were voices words down the page I thought I heard them say Welcome to the Hotel W-Body Such a lovely place Such a lovely place Such a lovely face Plenty of room at the Hotel W-body Any time of year Any time of year (background) You can find it here You can find it here Their minds are Tiffany twisted They've got the Cutty Supremes They got a lot of pretty shitty cars They call reliable How they stall in the intersection Sweet summer sweat Some push to the sidewalk Some push to the dump So I called up the Jermey "Please bring me my keys" He said "We haven't had that spirit here since 1989" And still those voices are calling from far away Wake you up in the middle of the night Just to hear them say Welcome to the Hotel W-body Such a lovely Place Such a lovely Place ) Such a lovely face They're livin' it up at the Hotel W-body What a nice surprise What a nice surprise (background) Bring your alibies Mirrors on the doors Pink bondo on the side And they said We are all just prisoners here Of our own device And in the master's chambers They gathered for the peice They bag the shit out of them But they just can't kill the beast! Last thing I remember I was clicking that X I had to find the passage back before I was in debt Relax said the the crew We are programed to recieve You can check out any time you like.... But you can never leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Mach 5 Posted June 21, 2006 Author Report Posted June 21, 2006 Good one. I definitely can never leave. Considering that I told my mother that Im going to keep this car until it finally just falls to peices i think Ill be here awhile. My car has only been in one accident about 6 yrs ago. It happened only 1 block away from my house. This 21 yr old girl in a Civic ran a stop sign and smashed into my car at about 40mph. My car spun a full 360. Bent the rear axle. That was it. Just a dent on the fender as well. The Honda was totalled. I will never forget that especially since I was in the passenger seat and she hit my side. Hopefully the Pontiac will live forever like it did through that. Quote
rjtiminskygtp Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Well Mach 5, that Pontiac Won't live forever, but it'll be pretty close. For one reason, it's a W-Body, and for another...it's a Pontiac. That combination is like the Naked girls and hot oil of the GM world...that means the best combination! Quote
