popping noise from from end

its only when im turning and moving slowly, like pulling out of a driveway. it gets a kind of popping noise when i turn the wheel. The cradle bolts are tight and i have new ball joints in it. axles were new about a year ago. so the only things i haent changed would be the tierod ends.

 

Also, when im moving slowly in reverse,and i hit the brakes, it clicks or pops once. it does it when im moving forward slowly and hit the brakes too.

 

Any ideas?

Does it do it around corners as well? It might be the Strut tower bearing plate. I have to replace both of mine, and its a rather loud 'popping' noise as well.

well i dont notice it going around corners. its either because it doesnt, or i just cant hear it.

sounds like possibly a ball joint or a spring problem, or as mentioned above it could be a strut bearing...just some things to look @

doh..just read that u put new balljoints in it...was it doing this before u put the new balljoints in?...

ever since i put those coilover on about 2 years ago. when i changed to intrax springs, i figured the noise would go away, and that it was merely from the coilovers. i guess not.

 

but yea it has done it since i put new ball joints in. but for the first month or so i didnt grease them. but they are greased now.
