ron350
What I am trying to do is find a spare PCM that will work in my 96 Regal 3800 II. Local junkyard has several 96 PCM’s but all are from 3100 cars, Lumina, Corsica, Achiva. To use one of these PCM’s in my car I would have to have it reflashed at a dealership, right? The junkyard interchange and the AC Delco on line interchange show that all 1996 V6 PCM’s will work but give no other details.

Other than that I don't know what to tell you. Physically, I'm pretty sure the case will swap between all of them, but the actual "software" is probably different for all of them.
