dalejw3 Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Well, actually its my Brother, he has the chance to buy a 1997 Cutlass sedan, 3100, 111,000 miles. It was a repo'd car, the body is decent, no rust, and it runs and drives good, but needs back brakes. I don't know about any maintenance or anything since its a repo... do you think he should take the chance for $1200?? Quote
White93z34 Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 sounds like a decent price, if back brakes are ALL it needs then i'd go for it. Quote
dalejw3 Posted June 17, 2006 Author Report Posted June 17, 2006 what does it have option wise??? Its power everything, cruise, cold A/C, Im just afraid of LIM gaskets...no way to know on those, oh, and its it Light Driftwood Metallic with a tan cloth interior. (and VERY MINOR front end damage...passenger mirror is missing too, cheap junkyard fix) Quote
Crazy K Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 sounds like a good deal. check ALL fluids. make sure no water in oil... make sure the oil isn't gritty!!! and that the trans fluid isn't Burned take it for a test drive and see if it is liked, and then jump on it. Quote
