intern8tion9l
well ever since the swap, it has always idled a little high....usually it'll stay at like 1500rpm until i come to a complete stop, then kicks down. as long as the car is in any kind of motion it stays up. also in between shifts when i push the clutch in it idles up for a sec instead of kicking right down. as of yesterday, it will start off normal, then will basically stay as high as i rev it, and even on its own will creep up and be idling at 3000rpm! my friend had his scanner on it for like 45mins and couldn't figure it out. the IAC is fine, but something is telling it to stay open. any thoughts? mfewtrail
If I'm remembering right, Josh or someone else w/ a 5spd swap had a very similar issue, maybe he'll chime in soon.
89GP_SE
you could try the idle relearn process
