cryptnix
I already know it works ... cause well I have it done to my Cutlass but I'm getting this wierd sound as I hit a small dip when I'm turning ... I am wondering if the setup is alittle wider on the Monte's than that of my original Cutty setup ... IF THIS MADE A LICK OF SENSE ... (I am dead beat tired ... got my harness back from Brian Teel and just threw it back into the car ... and played tennis with some friends ... I am poop'd ...) Anyways, let me know
White93z34
what kind of sound? and i'd say your problem is somewhere else, i'd imagine a worn cradle bushing possably or a bolt not torqued to spec. be sure to check your swaybar bushings, mabie you don't have one fully tightened down

digitaloutsider
It could possibly be the rubber bushings on the cradle mounts. The passenger rear one on my Regal is worn down, and I get a clunk on hard accelerations or hard braking.

Pabz
I dont think they could bottom out, I hear that they last less with lowering, but being too long is not the issue. Stuts usually come with a lot more than 2.5 inches of play.

mihela816
You have to cut it? I haven't on my Intrax install! What problems would it cause?
cryptnix
I too haven't cut it ... and I haven't seen or felt anything odd other then my stupidity not wrenching down the cradle bolts all the way and causing the front end to shift ... otherwise, please scan it and post it somewhere would ya? is it required on the monte's? cause thats what subframe i'm using atm
Guest TurboSedan
i'm curious about this too. i don't see any reason why you'd have to cut the jounce bumper at all. i actually have the KYB integrated boot/bumper on my car but the bumper part of it is the same size as the stock yellow bumper.
