AWeb80
Its a long story, but i'm contemplating sellin the 077's if these xlaces turn out how I want them to....but that said: I'll need new tires for the xlaces as the ones that were on them are kinda old .....6yrs old and kinda crackily....They still have some tread....but i want a 245 tire for the xlaces... What sidewall do i want to be as close to stock diameter that way my speedo will be close to accurate.... I am thinkin somewhere around a 2445/40...to a 245/45....to a 245/50...but don't know which size is the correct one Is there a website that you can punch numbers in and it will tell you mph info and how far it will be off and such? THe_DeTAiL3R
According to this you need 245/55/16 and it will be 0.1% off... http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

PCGUY112887
Nooo you can't sell your 077's! Your car looks so good with them! At least keep em and if you like the new crosslaces look you can swap between whenever you feel like it.
GnatGoSplat
245/50R16 is what TGP's used. That's what I would get. 245/55R16 may fill more of the wheel well, but they also will come VERY close to the cladding and I think 245/50's fill it more than adequately. pwmin
iirc i ran the stock tires (225/60/16) without problem for a little while. i think the 245/45/16's i have on my xlaces are perfect but were way off, but thanks to my powrtuner, problem solved. you can also go here: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/brochure/info/tmpInfoTireMath.jsp whatcha doin to the xlaces? i just stripped and repainted mine. ill have to post the pics.
