It NEEDS it as it looks loike Quasimodo in the regard it seems to be "listing: to the left (Or in nautical speak: "She's takin on water and listing to the port ) I have some brand new Monroe struts chillin here, along with a mount kit w/boots.. ..I know John (GP1138) has done this.. But any info you all can give on what to expect, what "practices" worked best for you, etc... I also HAVE read the FAQ in the FAQ forum, but I want to hear some advice and tips from others.. DiscoStudd
I followed the FAQ by intlcutlass to a "T" and it went very smoothly. Although he says to have the store you bought the struts and mounts from mount them together, it's easy enough to do yourself. One other tip (don't remember if he mentioned it or not) is to coat the bolts with anti-sieze so you can easily remove them next time. I doubt you'll need any help, but if you do, feel free to hit me up on Saturday. I should be free by late afternoon...

Here's what happened... I purchase the struts, and the mounts... I go to assemble them. I hand started the nut, and the first few turns went fine, But then it got harder.. and harder... To the point I was affraid of stripping something. Since then , I have replaced them again. I think the strut kit just had faulty hardware, because my KYB's went on with no problems.... Steve - if you have any problems, feel free to PM me...
