chadz34 Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 the ONLY reason i feel you have any credabiity here is that your z34 is as bone stock as the come with barely any miles on it. thats why i want to see pictures so i can have some idea what the factroy setup looked like. but i should be at the dealer tommrow i'll see if they have any idea what this setup is supposed to be like for 1993, and it really woulden't suprise me if they changed the setup from 92 to 93, since they changed a bunch of other random shit for no real reason. The dealers can actually show you a layout of the exhuast, so get them to check different years. Quote
ShockTherapy Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 DOHC cars do not have two mufflers.....one is a resonator with a tailpipe on it....that is why it's smaller. BZZZZT! wrong! my 94 had 2 full size mufflers Quote

5speedz34 Posted June 11, 2006 Report Posted June 11, 2006 What'd they do, flip a coin on the assembly line? No, what I've seen is that anything below 93 had the different sized mufflers while the later ones had regular size. The size difference is to equalize pressure. Quote
