Rust in door Plus keyhole light 56k friendly now

ok took in door plate off and sprayed it down with kean stripper(damn no work at all removing it) Now i want to get started on inner door

as you see

i went up and bought some small tooth brush size steel brushes and want to get all of the rust off and put POR 15 on or should i wait and

have the whole inside of drop stripped of paint then sand blast the rust . Then add por and repaint?

 

 

now those wires have the light for the keyhole and mine is melted. I dont know the voltage that goes there but can i just replace it with a single bright white LED and how does it hook in there mine was just hanging.http://home.mchsi.com/~rsscar/pic2.JPG

Welli got the rust off and going to use por 15 on it the use por 15 top coat in white. Since its under the panel not worried about how it looks ,just so theres no rust anymore.

Then i decided to take the molding off and clean it and wax. Damn I had some clip that where slighty cracked so i replaced them with green clips

there wasnt much dirt in there but enough to look like crap .
