TWIN TURBO! w00t. add a few greddy stickers, and some BOV's and a manual transmission (custom made of course ) and a body kit, and.... hmm a giant wing then run around town haha... i'm just teasing. That really is hot though. I want to see someone do a twin turbo 3800 i will Shat my pants! Quote
digitaloutsider Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 It's already been proven all over the board that twin turbo'ng that motor would be a gigantic waste of time. Quote
J Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 i couldn;t even afford all that braided line and earls fittings! Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 Its impressive, and I bet it goes. But shit I can barely keep gas in my car right now. Which is kinda why Ive been driving my dads truck Quote
Turbocharged400sbc Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 where did you find that pic? thats a rather nice setup, i hope he/she is planning on going with a larger turbo...i cant see why you would want an internal WG turbo with the room in that setup... Wilson Manifolds kick arse! Quote

Regal_GS_1989 Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 hopes to run very high teens this summer...... Why would he want to run slower. Theres nothing impressive about a 19.9 sec. 1/4 mile. I sure hope you meant low teens. Quote
AWeb80 Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 i meant higher teens as in BOOST.....like 18 or 19......he just needs a boost controller and something else..... the turbo is good for 30-31 psi....but the motor will only take ~24 or so.... It is a GT35R. sorry for not makin myself clear. Quote

Nice...the turbo going on the 442's rear 3800 is good to 22 psi , I dont know what the TD06 17c (cy/ty unit) upgraded to TD06 20g 12cm2 would pruduce pressure wise, but it will flow enough volume of air for 650 Hp, which will be going onto the front does he have a Web page? i'd like to see more pics, thanks Quote
AWeb80 Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 I don't know where the pics went..... i'll keep searching. Quote
jdcutty Posted June 3, 2006 Report Posted June 3, 2006 oooooo, I want one. A turbo l36 5 speed would be rediculous. And I have plenty of room for it. Who wants to sponsor a project? Quote
CEDRIC Posted June 5, 2006 Report Posted June 5, 2006 It's already been proven all over the board that twin turbo'ng that motor would be a gigantic waste of time. Actually Matt M has a TT setup on his GT and is running 9.73@144mph. Quote
digitaloutsider Posted June 5, 2006 Report Posted June 5, 2006 I never saw anything come out of that project. Then again, I haven't been on ClubGP in ages.. Quote
