chadz34
So, I got my belt changed a few days ago, and the mechanic said I am lucky I have a motor still. I was missing 10 bolts, and the tensioner was angled. Who ever tried to change the belt before I bought it did it completely wrong. I had two 3.4 DOHC mechanics working on it at the GM dealership and they said they had never seen such a hack job of a belt change in there lives. SO, since it is changed and set up perfectly, it runs alot smoother, and the only thing I have left to do is fix a little vaccum leak somewhere near the intake arm, that is why sometimes my car won't start says the mechanic. slick
This whole thread is sad. Do you know which bolts were missing exactly? I mean, there are bolts I leave out on purpose(the top alternator bolt is a bitch, so I leave it out).
