peeeot
The stock rims on my '91 Cutlass Supreme look great when there is not direct light on them, but when there is, the finish looks blotchy. I assume this is due to a failing clearcoat of some sort. What do I need to do to make them look right again?

peeeot
So is the basic idea simply to take the clearcoat down, re-prep and re-apply new clearcoat?
SigEpCutlass
There are places that either exchange or recondition your wheels. There is usually an ad for a national place in the ads area in C&D Magazine. I considered doing that, but then I just decided to buy some cutty 5 spokes in great condition instead. If you can't find a place, let me know and I'll look in C&D for you.
peeeot
I subscribe to C&D, so I'll take a look in there myself. Thanks for the tip though.
SigEpCutlass
Not a problem. Hopefully that's along the lines of what you were looking for.
