Easy tip for bleeding clutch on a HM-282 Getrag

After trying a few other unsuccessful methods my uncle told be to take a pipe or something and use it to wedge the clutch pedal all the way to the floor for a half hour. Then get a bungee strap and use it to hold the clutch pedal up for a half hour. Keep switching positions back and forth every half hour until the air is bled out. My trans wouldnt shift at all then after I tried this method is shifts just like new. Thought you guys might want to know I have heard about all the problems you guys have had bleeding these systems too.
