97CuttySupSL Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 im not sure but will a z34 hood fit my car?? 97 cutty Quote
97CuttySupSL Posted May 22, 2006 Author Report Posted May 22, 2006 not properly when you say not properly...in what areas will it be off?? Quote
jeremy Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 it won't line up with the body lines of the front fenders/bumper at all, but should physically "fit" length/width wise.... Quote
1990lumina Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 Plus I doubt it will look good even if it did fit properly..... Quote
97CuttySupSL Posted May 22, 2006 Author Report Posted May 22, 2006 i think the louvers would look good Quote
Euro Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 then buy a set of louvers and cut your hood Quote
97CuttySupSL Posted May 22, 2006 Author Report Posted May 22, 2006 didnt someone do that already? well if they did ..i wanna see some pics Quote
Euro Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 he did it to a lumina hood since they already have the outlines for the cutouts Quote

Euro Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 if the car you're thinking of is a dark garnet red...then its the lumina Hairdo12 i think is his name Quote
Dirty Rockstar Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 I laid my Z34 Louvres on my Cutty later last year.. Here are the pics.. Shaun (Digitaloutsider) laid TGP louvres on his Int'l.. My Cutty: (Right click and view image.. Damn resizing..) Feel free to chime in here Shaun with your pics Quote
jeremy Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 (Right click and view image.. Damn resizing..) FWIW: there is no resizing on the forum....and I can definitely see the entire pic Quote
Dirty Rockstar Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Huh.. The forum slices my image off completely.. I lose the entire left side of the pic.. The last one for eample cuts the drivers' side off! Quote
jeremy Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 I would be anything that you are using the BlackDay theme....I have told people numerous times that if you use a SMF theme (there are now two dark ones) that everything will work like it should Quote
ToroToro Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 That doesn't look bad at all! I think TGP louvres would look nice too. I can say with authority that 94-96 GP louvres look completely like shit though. Think I posted an old pic of Taylor's car with them awhile back. Quote
97CuttySupSL Posted May 24, 2006 Author Report Posted May 24, 2006 i really dont think that looks bad at all Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 IMO the Cutlass has softer, less agressive lines compared to a GTP or Z34 so I dunno if it would look good or not. Maybe a little out of place (especially on a sedan) IMO, but probably wouldn't look terrible. Quote
97CuttySupSL Posted May 26, 2006 Author Report Posted May 26, 2006 i think if done right it would not look bad at all Quote
