89GP_SE
So I was pricing out some tires. These tires look rally good. Good price and 120,000km warrantee with free rotations.. YAY! something that I dont have to do. My uncle had them on his international, and my dad had them on his 88 gp (15's). I was thinking of what tire size i should go with. I currently have 215/60/16. I like and dont like. Too tall sometimes. Have any of you guys had coopers on your cars.. if so did you like them or hate them. If i hear more bad then good then I will just go with the tigerpaws that my dad is selling off his 97.
blkinternational
i never personaly had them on my car but ive herd nothing but bad things about coopers. i would go with the tigerpaws if there in decent shape.
GutlessSupreme
I've never had any problems with either of my sets of coopers...
Regal_GS_1989
Well, I've never had Cooper Classic II's but I've got Lifeliners on my cutlass, and they are absolutly awful. They are all dry rotted. Also, when I bought by Regal, there was 1 Lifeliner on it, and it was the newest tire of them all, and it was dry rotted to all hell. My buddy also had a set of them on his escort GT, and same thing, they are all terribly dry rotted. I dunno about some of their other models though, maybe they are better. 94CutlassSLCoupe
I have a set of classic radial SR's for my 5-spokes, which i beleive are the same thing. 30k miles later they still have about half of their original tread depth.
Meddriver1
3rd different set of Cooper tires. And that is THE ONLY set I will buy. Consistant quality. Good price . Good handling. What more do you need.
1990lumina
I have Lifeliners on the front of my Lumina....I love them, but I'll be buying Kuhmo tires next time around because they are cheaper lol....my Lifeliners are dry rotted, but they are also 10 years old so whatever...I'm burning them off at the end of summer before I have winter tires mounted on the factory wheels
