RedZMonte
Anyone have any problems lowering a TGP? i put the 16x8's on my lumina and the front tires rub when i hit big bumps. I was wondering if i would have the same problem w/ the TGP w/ it lowered? Shane
1trucavalier
the way it looks you are going to have to use 235-45-17's (i got)( they are noticeably smaller) or 235-50-16's
1trucavalier
this is a 245-45-17 and as you can see there is plenty of room for lowering http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/4c3c795f/bc/__hr_Im000168.jpg?bcGrtn.AMyLf.VS1

RedZMonte
I have 235/40/17 on the monte and they are about 2" shorter then my stock 225/60/16's. I will play w/ the tire size calc. and see what i can do to gain some space Shane
90TGP
I used the ST front lowering springs on my TGP. I still have the stock set-up. I had rubbing going around turns when I first had my springs. But now it went away. Unless you hit a dip going about 40mph, you shouldn't have problems with the tires hitting the top of the fender. I do still have problems with the front airdam rubbing when going around a freeway clover type off ramp.
