fastbird232
...the rest of the motor? And do you have a 4T65-E HD trans to back it?
WhiteMonteZZZ
If you have a 3800S2 already, you still need the whole motor from the donor car. The block for the L67 is still beefed up internally from what I hear compared to the stock 3800. Plus wiring the PCM is needed. So just "bolting the intake/supercharger up" to your 3800 won't necessarily work. And you need the 4t65e-HD also to back the added power. firefighter_0029
There really is no differance from a L27 than a L67 as far as compression. But the whole front of the motor is differant. The only thing that is the same is the Water Pump.

firefighter_0029
I belive the ECM is under the dash in a Riviera. What year is it? The price of it depends on whether it's a Series I or II.
dbtk2
We need to know a few crutial things here: What year is your car? What year is the riviera? Assuming they are both series II cars, you will need: heads, intake, supercharger, throttle body, fuel rails, injectors, harmonic balancer and all of the supercharger belt idlers, you'll also need a custom PCM since your car has different gears than the supercharged ones so you can't just use the PCM from the supercharged car, plus you'll have a full point of compression more so you'll have to run probably a bigger pulley than what is already on the blower. You also would only have the 4t65e not the 4t65e-hd, so you will have a weaker diff. This won't be a problem with stock L36 + M90 power levels, but once you get into mods, say bye to the tranny. But other than those issues, its pretty much a direct swap. Shawn
