request from 96 intake swap DOHC

anybody that has swapped the 96 intakes on their LQ1. How did you get the cruise to work? I just put the 96 TB on and would REALLY like to have CC. I stole the throttle cable from a 96 3800 bonneville, believe it or not.

I cut the thing off the end of the cruise cable and crimped an eyelet electrial terminal on the end of the cable, then I put the terminal over the attachment for the cruise and slightly bent the terminal so it wouldn't come off.

I tried doing it with a fishing sinker, yah never worked. But I've got better things to worry about right now.
