Removing the gunk under badges...

So the right hand side of my GTP decided to de-badge itself today, what is the best thing to use to get that black sticky stuff off the body of the car???

if theres alot, i used a hair dryer or something and it'll rub off with your fingers

 

if theres not alot then Goo Gone or Bug and Tar Remover work great too

Pure acetone is cheaper and works better.

and an old credit card (for the huge long bumb strip)

to the above...

 

A credit card or other soft plastic of similar shape to scrape away the goo will save time. Then goo gone or whatever, hell even WD40 will work. After you may want to give it a quick buff around that area incase the paint got scratched or dulled, and a little wax...

I used 3M Wax and Adhesive remover. Unlike WD40 or GooGone, there's no need to clean the surface again after applying the "remover."
