91GranSport Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 Here's my input on the whole colouring topic: Gunmetal isn't a bad colour, but it's just too generic on a W-Body. Black is an excellent colour, but it's high maintenance. Red is good if it's a dark candy apple red, but it's an expensive colour. Yellow is rice. Green is rice. Purple is rice. Violet is rice. Flake is for low-riders. Metallics (fine metallics at that) add a nice touch Pearl adds a nice effect. Blue is the best way to go. My perfect example of blue would be right here: http://www.c5forum.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=001900 That should help. Quote
Lee Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 I'd love to see a GP with the Dark Garnet Red that my Regal is. There are Regals with the medium garnet red that look dull like grandpa but the deep dark red of mine is really nice. The GP Red is close to the same, or is the same as Grand am's and my old Fiero, nice but not unique. See my www site. Quote
soccrplayrgtp Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 i think the blue on my car is beautiful!! Its bright, eye-catching, not-red black or grey, and my fav. RARE. I live in milwaukee and have only seen 5-6 cars with my color, now thats tough to do. Quote
