chadz34
I called my Chevrolet dealer and they said change your timing belt 95-100,000 km, I am at 95, so I took ym cover off and inspected it, it has monor cracks all over the belt, and I was wondering if you guys think when the belt starts to crack, if it needs to be changed, especially since I am going to Brampton to the W-body meet, I wouldn't like it if I was stranded. I got a quote for 650 in labour and 100 for the belt. Also, I read the oilchange from fucking hell article and I am changing my oil tomorrow using an AC Delco filter, I use Fram and am scared cause I get some new noise when I start my motor. ShockTherapy
fram is trash, anyone will tell you that, and yes, get that belt replaced ASAP as your LQ1 is an interference engine.

White93z34
weren't you saying a month or so ago how it looked brand new? head on over to 60degreev6, read their write up. and order in the parts, and prepare to be carless for a weekend. fastbird232
Yeah, you can't break anything if you change it too early, but it'll all go to hell if you change it too late.
