jpv123 Posted April 16, 2003 Report Share Posted April 16, 2003 95 Cutlass Convertible OH NO, When I put the top down and up right away it works perfectly. But when I leave the top down for a while it is very slow going up. Today with the great weather I had it down all day. When I went to put it up it slowly went up slightly and then stopped. I tried going down and up a few times but NO. I had to go out and pull it it and help it along. Once I got it started it went up. Now my questions: Where is the convertible top motor located and does it need hydrolic fluid or is the pump on its way out? Is it a servicable part (probably not). If anyone knows Please HELP!! Redfox340 Posted April 16, 2003 Report Share Posted April 16, 2003 The pump is behind the rear seats... pull those and you should be able rto find it. As for fluid, if could have air in the system and just like a brake system, you may have to add or bleed it.
