Hey, I am getting a CAI shipped in soon, and there are some things that I can't find answers to. First off, if the intake is in the fender, next to the wheel, won't it get debris all over it and have to be cleaned a lot more? Second, what happens when you get water in the intake?[br]Posted on: May 05, 2006, 05:26:02 PM_________________________________________________

Or has nobody had these problems so far?

You'll be fine with a fenderwell filter. It might get a little dirtier quicker, but don't worry about water, there isn't enough sucking force there.

lol... no show us the link to where you got the intake. that way we can see if it is the crappy kind... get a K&N cone filter for it also. most of the intakes u just move your battery up a little. you should never have to cut into your car for an intake.

Do we really need 5 threads a week about fenderwell intakes?

Well thats what happens when no one uses the search function...

Hey, I searched this site, and the 60degreev6 site. There was nothing I found about wether the CAI intakes go outside the fender, or in the engine compartment.

the problem is not the search feature, it's the searcher

Yea those pics show me where the intake goes to, but it shows that I cut a hole in the car. Everyone said that you don't have to, wtf. Oh well, I guess I will figure it out when it's shipped here.
