Seshomaru7 Posted May 5, 2006 Report Posted May 5, 2006 Hey, I am getting a CAI shipped in soon, and there are some things that I can't find answers to. First off, if the intake is in the fender, next to the wheel, won't it get debris all over it and have to be cleaned a lot more? Second, what happens when you get water in the intake?[br]Posted on: May 05, 2006, 05:26:02 PM_________________________________________________ Hey, I am getting a CAI shipped in soon, and there are some things that I can't find answers to. 5speedz34 Posted May 5, 2006 Report Posted May 5, 2006 You'll be fine with a fenderwell filter. It might get a little dirtier quicker, but don't worry about water, there isn't enough sucking force there. Quote
Seshomaru7 Posted May 6, 2006 Author Report Posted May 6, 2006 Cool. So I am cutting a hole in my fender to get the intake in? Quote
NeonKnight Posted May 6, 2006 Report Posted May 6, 2006 lol... no show us the link to where you got the intake. that way we can see if it is the crappy kind... get a K&N cone filter for it also. most of the intakes u just move your battery up a little. you should never have to cut into your car for an intake.
