TGPilot
I have heard through the grapevine that a Water and Oil cooled turbo does not need as much cool down time as a plain oil cooled turbo. They also said that if you use Mobil 1 synthetic, that you will not get the coking that you are trying to avoid with the cool down anyway. All turbo shops recommend cool downs no matter the cooling method... 8)
90TGP
I'm going to buy a GReddy turbo timer one of these days [$100]. I think it would be a good idea to get one, because sometimes you might be in a hurry and don't feel like sitting in the parking lot waiting for the car to cool down. no1kicker
I worry about other people driving my car and not letting it idle. Now when I drive other cars I let them idle from habit.
JS91Z34
I have one on my shelby charger. Really neat toys!!! It might take a while getting used to though. It did for me!
