Quote
Regal_GS_1989 Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Thats exactly what the trans on my cutlass looked like when I bought it. Thats why I got it for only 500$, including a valid safety inspection. He was quoted close to 2000 to fix it and just wanted it out of his sights. I put in a weekend's worth of time, 290$, that includes rebuilt diff, enough trans fluid to do a flush, trans filter, new diff housing, engine oil and filter and plugs. I had thought about doing a 5pd swap, but I want to turn my regal into my project car, and I really dont want a 5spd daily driver. I just might end up throwing a 5 spd into the regal instead, and quite possibly a DOHC as well. Quote
