Seshomaru7 Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Hey, I am still waiting for my 93 CS convertible to come back from the body work guy. I have saved up $360 so far for the car. At the beginning of the month, I will get another $250. That leaves me with $610. Here is what I am getting first: paying for uninstall/install of subs, amp, and head unit $150 digital dash $45 digital dash adaptor $42 steering wheel control interface $50 rear speakers (currently have none) $134 That all brings me down to$189... What should I do with the $189? Performance chip?[br]Posted on: April 24, 2006, 07:54:04 PM_________________________________________________Ok, maybe a CAI... Quote
fastbird232 Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 What should I do with the $189? Fill the gas tank. Quote
Psych0matt Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 digital dash adaptor $42 why? its not hard to do it yourself (for that price anyways) next Id get an ffp mount (maybe an underdrive pulley), or new shocks/struts? Quote

How much would new shocks or struts be? What is the difference? Quote
Seshomaru7 Posted April 25, 2006 Author Report Posted April 25, 2006 Why a digital dash? The analog dash is just fine. Plus it's hard to see the digital in sunlight. I want a digital dash. Quote
94CutlassSLCoupe Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 What engine does it have? 3.4 DOHC or 3.1? Quote

I've never had any problem seeing mine in the daylight. with it dimmed maybe, but not usually. I want a digital dash. they are so much better 8-) Quote
Seshomaru7 Posted April 26, 2006 Author Report Posted April 26, 2006 I have the 3.4 L 210hp engine. Oh yea! Quote
Euro Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 dude install the subs and amp yourself...its not worth the money to have someone do it for you plus its relatively easy Quote

It seems like there isn't much to it, but eh, I will leave it to the people that know how to do it.[br]Posted on: April 26, 2006, 03:25:14 PM_________________________________________________Ok everyone. You found a true cai? or just a talked up wai? if its a true cai, i want info. otherwise, I would get an ffp dogbone, theres a k&n air filter in the for sale section, you should snag that too Quote

He made a 3 inch tubing, converted down to a 2.5 so you won't have to move your battery to the trunk, just move it over. The filter sticks out the fenderwall, so it's true CAI. Quote
