tgpguy21
i put my heat in my car on and it idled down to the point where it almost stalled, and when i was in town at a stop light it stalled when there wasnt even heat on. Anyone know what this problem could be. i been told fuel pump maybe? Any help would be much appreciated.
TGPilot
I may not be understanding exactly what you are saying, but if you turn your heater on you stall? I don't know what to say, but the only thing that I could think of off-hand would be a major vacuum leak when you select a different heat/vent control. Track down the vacuum line and see if you hear a leak? 8)
tgpguy21
it doesnt die but it did drop down below 500 rpm when i had the heat on. the time it died for no reason i was just sitting at a stop light. is it true that they put special fuel pumps in them because of the turbo. if so i had the original replaced awhile ago. they used one out of a lumina or something like that. could that be the prob?
