I've spoken to a local junk yard that has a metal leaf spring. Its cheaper that any fiberglass one I've found. Is there a rel difference between them? And do the metal ones still require the same end bushings?

I just conatcted a local suspension shop. And aparently they caustom make metal ones. They quoted me $180cdn.....+ Install and bushings. I was a little hesitant as well because I had never heard of this before.

I have my stock leaf spring you can have cheap if you want it.

 

Obviously i have CO's so I don't need it.

i have a custom metal one in my Cutlass for lowering the rear 2 inches

 

if you don't want it lowered i would't reccomend a metal leaf....just get a stock fiberglass one

It was a local place here in winnipeg called Neuls spring shop. he says hes been making them for 5 years for these cars. And that the reason he started making them is because so many people complaining because they were snaping theirs. Aparently his dont raise the ride height.....but I dont really know.
