gp90se
Car smells like fuel, it isnt from under the hood, theres no wet spots on any of the lines from the tank to the motor, and the gas cap was checked. Where do the evap systems like to leak from?
THe_DeTAiL3R
Check over the gastank real good. My car was leaking from BOTH the top of the tank AND the filler neck! My old GP I also changed the gas tank...
Turbo231
I'll second that....does the smell only happen when the tank is 1/2 full and go away when it gets low, or is it there all the time, regardless of tank level?
jeremy
<-----unfortunately is now very good at dropping and raising w-body gas tanks

gp90se
I will check the filler soon, doesnt matter if its full or on E which makes me think its an evap line, in which case, Ill block them all off.
jeremy
could simply be a clogged fuel filter too

Crazy K
checked the lines by the charcoal canister too? behind d/s rear wheel. does it matter if the car was running or not? and if the car sat for the weekend, would you still smell it cold and parked a few days later? try cycling the key on and off a few times to see if that generates the smell after a day of sitting?
