94CutlassXtreme
So I was talking with a friend and he told me of an idea. If I was to take a 3100 plenum and drill three holes in the top and then have three fuel injector bungs welded in, I could mount three injectors on a separate fuel rail, and tap into the primary fuel feed line. Then I would wire the injectors to get power when I flip a toggle switch, and have them spray fuel cotinuously at WOT throttle while the nitrous is being sprayed. If my car bogs it's because the injectors are maxxed, not the fuel pump. This seems relatively simple, and it sure as hell would look badass! J
woah woah woah. I think that would just create a fuel puddling problem, injectors need a lil space to spray thier pattern and with that set up i'm unsure if it would work. You might not even have the space for that, the hood doesnt sit much higher than the plenum, with a 1/4 - 1/2 bung, injector give or take 3 inches and a harness with a rail, i don't think it'll work, much less blow shit up
94CutlassXtreme
I don't know about puddling, the way it would be set up would be simular to a single port wet system, that would inject fuel with nitrous into the intake. If I could make the extra injectors pulse, it might be a little more efficient. I definetly dont see anything blowing up, at worse the car will run wayy om the rich side, foul the plugs, and probably stall. The whole point of trying this out would be to keep my engine away from the lean side, where assloads of damage can happen. And I'm not quite worried about space, gives me an excuse to buy that 3 inch Cutlass cowl hood I like so much.
dohcfiend
are you running a wet or dry system?? if you are running a wet system, why not just put a bigger fuel jet in the nozzle if you are running a dry system, convert to a wet system and put a bigger fuel jet in the nozzle
GutlessSupreme
I think your car's gonna up in '97 L67 style. That's what I think.

94CutlassXtreme
97 L67 style...uh ohs I don't know yet. It'd probably just be more worth it to just put the money away and swap in an L67 like I want to anyways.
DaveFromColorado
if you're really looking at that much money, why not just run a direct port (under the injector) wet-system - by the time you have it all buttoned up, you'll be at about the same price. --Dave.
