gp90se
As much as we all love having to do 3 point turns to get in any tight area, has anyone done anything to make out cars turning a little sharper?
DaveFromColorado
shy of reengineering the whole front end, and building a custom rack, there's not a whole lot you can do. --Dave.
GutlessSupreme
I've wondered about it myself. but yea, we'd have to reengineer the whole geometry of the front end.
THe_DeTAiL3R
You go fast and then crank the wheel while you nail the e-brake. If you do it right you'll get a sharper turn.
gp90se
they put shorter tie rod sleeves in the drifting cars....

White93z34
sadly i don't think there is much at all that can be done, these cars have a horrid turning radius. and i've thought about it myself, and short of reengineering the whole front end i don't think there is much that can be done. That's about what I think about it as well. If you have a lower ratio rack(FE3), you could swap in a FE1 rack and reduce the turning a bit(I believe the rated turning radius is reduced by about 2ft with the FE1 racks). 19Cutlass94
FE1 turning radius still sucks and honestly isnt even worth the hastle. maybe its just whee I live, but I hardly ever do 3 point turns. So really I guess this doesnt bother me much, but like stated above, theres not really much you can do.

Go fast, pump the e-brake three times...oh wait mine can't even do that anymore lol. just post whoring
19Cutlass94
CBAD, you gotta remember, most w-bodies dont have working e-brakes. BTW, notsoslimshady76 nice sig pic.

I forgot they worked that way in the older 1st gen With my car I can actually push it down like 3/4 of the way so that it stops the car (while rolling anyways) but doesn't actually lock, so I can just let go and then the e-brake goes off. I dunno if that would be enough to lock the rear wheels while going fast though, probably not..
ns87
BTW, notsoslimshady76 nice sig pic. Thanks dude. I was driving up to Oneonta and saw this perfect place on 23. Too bad there was that stupid Acclaim with no plates in the backround
