bad cam sensor, crank sensor, or ecm?

93 gp 3.1. it's been sitting for like 2 years now and i've been driving a 90.

last time i tried to fix this thing it would start once, then i would have to wait 24 hours before it would start again. i can't get any codes from the ecm even after repinning my cluster harness thinking i fucked it up. still, i'm going to get another cluster and see if i can get it to show codes.

now, i replaced the crank sensor today since i got a new one for 10 bucks shipped. still won't start.

i've done a little reading in alldata and it points me a little toward a cam position sensor. would a 93 3.1 have one? it's not listed in alldata in 92 or older, but it is for 93. also, if it's bad, i read that the car may restart after you shut down the engine. but there is a 5 in 6 chance that the sequence will be wrong.

when this thing does start, it runs like brand new.

not being able to get codes leads me to think i may have a bad ecm. anyone have any opinions.[br]Posted on: April 09, 2006, 05:43:45 PM_________________________________________________also, if i take my ecm to a stealership can they test it?
