3pt1lumina Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 I was wondering about this. On my friend's 99 Lumina he bought those fake Xenon headlights. They weren't very bright but then he put the high beam bulbs where the low beams are. So would that mess anything up? The bulbs are 9006's (low) and 9005's (high). I'm guessing not...but I'd like to confirm that. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 Other than the highs being a higher wattage, but most high beams are about 65w so that wouldnt hurt the wiring for the low beams. Quote
ToroToro Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 You wont have any problems, other than maybe getting flashed by other motorists. And that 9005s burn out a lot faster. You just need to take a razor to the two little "slides" in the plug so that the harness plugs in. Quote
