GP croslaces or Lumina alloys

alright i'll be getting new tires prety soon, and before then i either need to replace one or 2 of my shot 16*6.5 lumina alloy wheels or buy 4 silver 16*8 GP croslaces and use them.

 

how do you think they would look on a white z34?

and

what would you do?

I love for teh crosslaces, but I dunno how they'd look on a Z34.. probably not right.

Lumina alloys...I dunno if x-laces would look good or not

I think if you painted the X-lace properly, they could look good.

My advice would be if you are gonna get some wider tires, then maybe go with the crosslace, but paint them. If you are sticking with something that will fit on stock Z rim, then just find 2 good ones (I don't think they look nice anyways)

I would stick with the Lumina alloys to match your "stock" theme going on there.

i want the lumina alloys, but the GP croslaces not only look prety good but are 8 inches wide vs. my lumina wheels that are only 6.5, that way i could run a 245-55-16 tire insead of my 225-60-16. i dono i guess i'd have to see it photoshoped.

I think the GP wheels would look pretty good. With the wheels being wider, they'll make the tires look wider which is a good thing. I did this quickie for somebody here almost 2 years ago:

 

 

The thing I would check is how far they would stick out. On a Grand Prix without body cladding, they do stick out a little bit more than you're use to seeing (especially on the front). Here's an example:

 

 

I'm thinking that there is a possibility that each of the W's fenders are shaped a little different. TurboSedan has them on his Cutlass and they look good (and the Cutlass doesn't have much of a flare to it's wheel openings), so you'd probably be OK.

I have a qestion on the crosslaces. I have the gold crosslace, But I like he look of the silver better. Are the silver ones painted or just bare Aluminum?

painted. at least the lace part itself. and the rim's clearcoated, obviously.
