Guest Anonymous
Fel-Pro should be good enough. I don't know that there is a "performance" head gasket for our motors.

JS91Z34
You can have a copper head gasket made specially for any motor. They are expensive though. I had one made for my T-Bird(4 cyl turbo) and it cost me about 189 bucks. It lets me boost 25 p.s.i. steadily with lifting the head. Great for nitrous applications
brian89gp
Felpro is more then enough. If you are still worried about it either use copper gaskets or o-ring the head.
NDN-Grand Prix
What other gaskets are required when replacing the head gaskets. I found a kit, but do you really need all the other stuff? 95 3100 sfi Grand Prix SE

They are a one-time-use item; besides, when you rebuild something that is indepth as such a repair... do you really want to do it again just for not putting in a new gasket because your re-used one cracked in the process? I don't. - RedFox340
god910
Has anyone priced having a 3.8 O-ringed? I know it varies shop to shop but I was seriously considering it, because the more I think about it, I may want to run high boost at the dragstrip, and low on the street. (18-20psi strip & 6-12 street.) I would like to build it right once instead of wrong twice.

You can use the head gaskets meant for an Iron headed 2.8/3.1 V6 but I don't know how it is long term!
