89oldscutlass
I was wondering if the Alero is a W body car. My little brother has a 2001 with the 3.4 in it and its a little beast ro be reconed with. I was told that there setting on a Cavalier frame true or not i dont know. stevenjoseph82
The Alero and the newer Grand Am's are the same right?
Redfox340
Correct! Current Gen III N-Bodies: 1997+ Cutlass 1997+ Malibu 1999+ Grand AM 1999+ Alero All the 1999+ Grands Am's and Alero's cna swap out parts... same frame, and mechanical parts. Gotta love GM for interchangability!!! - RedFox340
luminator94
Yeah, my mom owns a 2000 Olds Alero GLS coupe, Arctic White. It is a blast to drive. She hasn't had to many problems with it either, one fog light got water inside, so she got 2 new ones for free under warranty. And the typical N-body warped front rotors due to defective calipers. I like driving it when I get the chance, just a tad on the small side for me, I feel cramped in the drivers seat. But I'm 6'4", so that explains the problem.
