At one point I went to get a replacement steering rack, and the parts guy said there was a 2.75 and a 2.25 turns lock to lock version. I would obviously prefer the quicker of the two so I can steer and shift without having to palm it.

My question is: What cars got the higher ratio, and what RPO code identifies this 'high rate' rack? I want to see if I can find one used. Is this an item restricted to turbo or DOHC cars or what?

Thanks

not sure 'bout what other cars got it, but I know at the very least the 91 and 92 Lumina Z34's got it for sure.
