95 3-4 Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 If anyone has close at hand the rocker arm, upper and lower intake and head bolt torque specs. and procedures for a 96 engine I would surely appreciate them. If not I hope the zone has them when I get the gaskets. Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 The GM lower intake gaskets I got were 10ft/lb. Used blue thread lock on the bolts... Uppers something like 8ft/lb (not very tight) Quote
Calvin Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 looks like 33ftlbs for the head bolts all around, then give all an additional 90 degree turn. Make sure TTY bolts are replaced with new Lower intake is to 10-11ftlbs, done in two steps. Look this up. Tightening order IS IMPORTANT HERE. Center bolts must be COMPLETELY tight before torquing down end bolts. Quote
