dkorinko Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 Hey guys, I was just wondering where the easiest place to wire the power and ground for the light in an autometer gauge would be, I have hardly any light to work with so anything behing the radio and what not is a pain in the ass to see. I was just wondering if anyone had an easy solution as to where i might be able to wire up the ground and power lines. Quote
sl3196 Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 Wire the light part into the dimmer switch. I forgot what the hell wire it is on the back of the headlight switch though haha. And of course ground wire somewhere. (few bolts holding dash on that work nicely under steering wheel) To power electric gauges there is a power drop in the passanger footwell that works great and is already wired into the fuse box. You will have to pull back the carpet there and dig up into the dash for it but it is just a two prong plug going nowhere.
