yeah its possible. Most common is guys put em on the "A pillar" most of time is a custom job to make it look like it fits. But you can put in any gauge you want.

And try to make them match the other gauges. and I hope you didnt mean a 10" gauge..

not with a standard A/F gauage. those are just pretty light-shows ... you'd be better off with a wideband kit, and even then, if you don't have all the other stuff to tune it, it won't do much for ya.

yeah I mean I plan on adding oil temp tranny temp and prolly one more gauge, all of which will be mounted on the A pillar. Which is really the only place to mount them IMO

Electronic Fuel Pressure gauages are a valuable tool at any time - they let you know if your pump/filter is startin' to go bad.

My regal is getting fuel pressure, trans temp, and both trans test port pressure's ... all electronic gauages (I've had the gauages for quite some time anyhow)

What's the point of an A/F gauge in a naturally aspirated car? It's just going to be flashing back and forth rapidly.

:iamwithstupid: LOL

I believe I already said that ...

(just givin' ya a hard time man!)

I still say Fuel Pressure is the way to go for sure!

Werd, fuel pressure gauge is much more useful. Only reason for an A/F gauge (with a w/b O2) on an n/a car would be if it had extensive mods, like radical cam and valvetrain, high compression, headers, etc.

if your going to add gauges to a lumina z, i'd personally add in this order, oil PSI/Volts (depending on which your cluster dosen't have) then fuel pressure like dave said, and mabie transmission temp.

i installed in one in my car when i was young, and it is annoying. BUt hopefully soon enough it'll be used properly with my turbo kit

:werd: for tuning you definately need wideband. narrowband A/F gauge will only give you an indication that things are "alright" at WOT only. they also show if the engine is in open or closed loop. they are kinda nice as a diagnostic tool but definately not for tuning. i wouldn't go so far too say it's just a pretty light show.

i had narrowband A/F gauge in my Cutlass for a little while last year. it was nice seeing the engine wasn't running lean at WOT when i turned up the MBC to 10psi. i'll be going with Innovative Motorsports LC-1 wideband soon but it's expensive.

i'm going to be using a two gauge pillar pod for a Dodge Daytona. fits the Cutlass pretty good. the other gauge will be a good electronic boost gauge. i've tried an Autometer mechanical boost gauge but from my experience they are not accurate enough.
